Job Description
KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Co-ordinate and inspect contract work on the fabrication, civil, plumbing, mechanical and other related systems.
- Documentation such as filling in of preventive maintenance program checklist, equipment history card etc.
- Adherence to Safety - Ensure all the safety rules as per OHSAS & EMS are followed for Man, Machine and Material.
- To ensure that preventive maintenance is performed as per schedule.
- To monitor and control the critical spares stock to reduce machine breakdown.
- Implementation of requirement as per QMS and RC standard.
- Monitor operation and maintenance of centrifugal & reciprocating pumps, agitators, reciprocating and centrifugal air compressors, glass lined equipment's, pumps and agitator mechanical seals, seal less pumps, agitated Nutsche filters, rotary vacuum paddle dryers etc.
- Monitor and perform maintenance of process equipment's such as valves, flame arresters, valves, emergency vents, dust collectors, star valves, packaging machine etc.
- Attend training as per identified training needs.
- Supervise and act as mentor for technical trainees, apprentice, helpers for their learning in your area.
- Supervise the work activities of all subordinates.
- Provide training to workers, trainees, apprentice, helpers, and housekeeping staff.
