Junior Network Engineer

We are seeking a talented and motivated Junior Network Engineer to join our Organization. The ideal candidate will have

1-2 years of experience in networking, with a strong foundation in routing, switching, and security firewalls. Exposure to

public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus. The Junior Network Engineer will work closely with our senior

network team to design, implement, and maintain our network infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and

reliability.

Job Responsibilities:

1. Assist in the design, implementation, and maintenance of network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
2. Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues, ensuring maximum uptime and reliability.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support business initiatives and project deployments.
4. Assist in the planning and execution of network upgrades and expansions to accommodate business growth and new technology initiatives.
5. Assist with network security measures, including access controls, firewalls, and VPNs.
6. Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and colleagues as needed.
7. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in networking and cloud technologies.
8. Participate in on-call rotation and after-hours support for network-related emergencies.
9. Provide AWS cloud support for components, including VPC configuration, subnetting, route tables and security groups, ensuring optimal performance, security, and availability of cloud-based resources.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 1-2 years of experience in networking, with a focus on routing, switching, and security firewalls.
3. Knowledge with public cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is a plus.
4. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
6. Industry certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or AWS Certification are preferred.
