Overview:

Join Oyela, a fast-fashion women centric D2C brand specialising in fashion for Gen Z . As a Junior Merchandiser, In this role, you'll support our merchandising team and work closely with the Senior Merchandiser to ensure the smooth flow of production for our collections. You'll collaborate with various teams, vendors, and suppliers, playing a crucial role in sourcing fabric & trims, finding new production vendors, coordinating production, and ensuring on-time delivery.

About the Role:

We're looking for someone to help the Sr Merchandiser with tasks related to Handover styles QC, Vendor PP and production. This role is perfect for someone who's proactive and can smoothly follow up with different teams and Vendors for updates.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare production files, organise pre-production meetings, and document key details, PP comments and action points.
• Collaborate with vendors to update PO cutting ratio, Inline, midline and final QC status, GRN status and quantity
• Coordinate with the quality control team to implement quality measures across the production process.
• Assist in managing the entire production process for each collection, from initial sample handover to final bulk production.
• Source new vendors for fabric, trims, and garment manufacturing to diversify the supply base.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors and suppliers, ensuring they meet quality and delivery timeline expectations.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Degree in Merchandising or related field from NIFT, Pearl, or similar institutions.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in merchandising, ideally in D2C brands.
• Strong knowledge of fabric/trims sourcing, pattern understanding, vendor management, and production timelines.
