About Us

At Bipolar Factory, we build technology that solves real-world problems while being reliable, intuitive, and user-friendly. We're looking for a detail-oriented Junior Manual QA Engineer to join our team and help us maintain high-quality standards across web, mobile, and API platforms. You'll work closely with product managers, designers, and developers to ensure every release meets user expectations.

Role Overview

As a Junior Manual QA Engineer, you will analyze requirements, design test cases, execute testing cycles, and log defects to ensure smooth, bug-free releases. You will perform functional, UI, integration, and regression testing, while also validating APIs and mobile applications. This role demands strong analytical thinking, excellent attention to detail, and effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review BRDs/FRDs to identify test conditions and coverage gaps.

  • Design, execute, and maintain manual test cases and test scenarios.

  • Prepare test data for various functional and regression scenarios.

  • Log, track, and verify defects using JIRA, Bugzilla, or QTest.

  • Conduct functional, UI, smoke, sanity, regression, integration, and system testing.

  • Perform API testing using Postman (basic request/response validation).

  • Execute cross-browser, cross-platform, and compatibility testing.

  • Test mobile applications on Android and iOS devices.

  • Collaborate with developers and product teams to resolve issues and improve product quality.

Requirements

  • 13 years of manual testing experience, preferably in web or mobile applications.

  • Strong understanding of software testing fundamentals and QA processes.

  • Experience in defect logging and tracking using JIRA, Bugzilla, or QTest.

  • Basic knowledge of APIs, browser tools, and test data preparation.

  • Familiarity with cross-browser, cross-platform, and compatibility testing.

  • Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

  • Ability to write clear, reproducible bug reports with steps, expected vs actual results, logs, and screenshots.

Skills & Competencies
  • Strong analytical and logical thinking.

  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.

  • User-focused mindset with high attention to detail.

  • Proactive problem-solving attitude.

  • Ability to collaborate with developers, designers, and product teams.

  • Time management and task prioritization skills.

  • Basic familiarity with Git is preferred.

  • Exposure to automation tools (Selenium, Playwright) is a bonus.

  • Ability to understand product requirements and think from an end-user perspective.

  • Basic understanding of how automated tests can be integrated into CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Why Join Us

At Bipolar Factory, you'll be part of a team that values innovation, learning, and collaboration. You'll work on real-world products that impact users, gaining hands-on experience across web, mobile, and API platforms. You'll also get opportunities to learn automation basics, improve test design skills, and grow into more advanced QA or SDET roles over time

We foster a culture where your ideas are heard, growth is encouraged, and quality truly matters. If you're passionate about technology, enjoy solving problems, and want to see your work make a difference, this is the place for you.

This position requires a joining timeline of up to 15 days. While we appreciate that notice periods differ across companies, we're currently at a stage where immediate support will make a meaningful impact and we're excited to bring in someone who's ready to get started.
