Role Overview

We are looking for a motivated Junior Java Developer to join our engineering team. This role is ideal for candidates with 0-1 year of experience who are eager to build, test, and maintain Java-based applications while learning modern backend development practices.

What You'll Do

• Support the development and maintenance of Java-based applications
• Write clean, logical, and maintainable code
• Work with Java, Spring Boot, REST APIs, and databases
• Assist in debugging, testing, and improving application performance
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements
• Learn and apply software development best practices
• Support documentation and basic technical troubleshooting

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field
• 0-1 year of experience in Java development, software development, or related role
• Basic understanding of Java, object-oriented programming, and data structures
• Familiarity with Spring Boot, REST APIs, or backend development concepts
• Working knowledge of SQL and relational databases
• Basic understanding of software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies
• Familiarity with version control tools such as Git
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Good attention to detail and willingness to learn
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work independently in a remote setup and manage multiple tasks
