We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic Junior Interior Designer to join our growing design team. This role is ideal for candidates looking to build their career in residential interiors and modular furniture design.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist senior designers in planning and executing interior and modular furniture projects.
- Prepare 2D drawings, layouts, and detailed working drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop 3D models and renderings for client presentations.
- Conduct site visits and take accurate measurements.
- Support the design team in preparing mood boards, material selections, and design concepts.
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, production teams, and site supervisors.
- Assist in preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities) and project documentation.
- Ensure design specifications are accurately communicated for manufacturing and installation.
- Help monitor project timelines and design deliverables.
- Stay updated with current interior design trends, materials, finishes, and furniture innovations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
- 0–3 years of experience in interior design or modular furniture design.
- Freshers with strong design skills are encouraged to apply.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD and SketchUp.
- Knowledge of V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, 3ds Max, or similar rendering software is an advantage.
- Basic understanding of modular kitchens, wardrobes, furniture design, and space planning.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of modular furniture design and manufacturing processes.
- Understanding of materials, laminates, hardware, and finishes.
- Ability to interpret design concepts into practical solutions.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
