Junior Interior Designer

Role Description The Junior Interior Designer will support the design team in developing concepts, layouts, and detailed drawings for residential and commercial interiors. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting with space planning, preparing mood boards, developing presentations, and producing construction and detail drawings under the guidance of senior designers. The role also involves coordinating FF&E selections, preparing schedules, visiting sites to support design implementation, and communicating with vendors and contractors as needed. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Mumbai, requiring regular collaboration with team members and participation in client and site meetings.

Qualifications

• Ability to work with Interior Design and Space Planning to develop functional layouts and design concepts.
• Proficiency in preparing Construction Drawings and detail documentation for execution.
• Skills in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, and equipment coordination.
• Working knowledge of design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Photoshop, Revit or similar) and presentation tools.
• Strong visual and material sense, with attention to detail and quality.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback and work in a team environment.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; prior internship or 1 years of experience in interior design is an advantage.
