Junior Interior Designer

Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer role based in the Pune District. The Junior Interior Designer will support senior designers in developing design concepts, preparing drawings and presentations, and assisting with space planning for residential and commercial interiors. Daily responsibilities include creating and revising construction drawings, coordinating FF&E selections, preparing mood boards, and maintaining project documentation. The role involves site visits, measurements, and coordination with contractors and vendors to ensure design intent is maintained during execution. The Junior Interior Designer will also assist with client meetings, material sourcing, and basic project administration tasks.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate concepts into practical design solutions.
• Proficiency in Space Planning and layout development for residential and commercial interiors.
• Ability to prepare and interpret Construction Drawings and technical documentation.
• Knowledge of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) selection, specification, and scheduling.
• Relevant diploma or degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a closely related field.
• Working knowledge of design and drafting software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic presentation tools.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks under guidance.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with clients, contractors, and team members on-site.
