Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site role located in Rajkot for a Junior Interior Designer. He or she should be living in Rajkot city. The Junior Interior Designer will assist in space planning, developing design concepts, and producing construction drawings. Responsibilities include selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), preparing detailed working drawings, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and contributing to the successful execution of interior design projects from inception to completion. Additional tasks include 3D visualizations and ensuring Vastu-based design principles where applicable.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in Space Planning and functional flow optimization
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings
- Skills in Interior Design and working on high-end, bespoke projects
- Experience with FF&E selection and specification
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, SketchUp, and rendering tools
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work
- Ability to collaborate with diverse teams including architects, contractors, and vendors
- Understanding of Vastu and its integration with contemporary design is a plus
- Degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field is required
