Junior Interior Designer

As a Junior Interior Designer at Plot and Plan Studio, you will assist in developing design concepts, preparing drawings, creating presentations and supporting project execution. You will work closely with the principal designer and gain exposure to the complete interior design process, including client meetings, site coordination and material selection.

Responsibilities

Design & Concept Development

* Assist in developing interior design concepts and spatial layouts

* Create design mood boards and concept presentations with strong aesthetic clarity

* Develop material palettes, color schemes and styling directions

* Research furniture, finishes, lighting and decor elements

Design Drawings & Visualization

* Prepare AutoCAD working drawings including layouts, elevations and detailed drawings

* Develop SketchUp 3D models of interior spaces

* Produce rendered views using V-Ray / Enscape / Lumion

* Edit and refine design presentations using Photoshop and Canva

Client & Project Support

* Assist in client meetings and design presentations

* Support preparation of design proposals and presentation decks

* Eventually be trained to handle client presentations independently

Execution & Coordination

* Visit project sites when required

* Assist in material selections and design detailing

* Coordinate with vendors, contractors and suppliers

* Support preparation of design documentation and BOQs where required

Qualifications

* 02 years of experience in interior design

* B.Des or B.Arch degree from a recognized design program

* Strong design sensibility and aesthetic judgement (non-negotiable)

* Good understanding of color, materials, finishes and spatial composition

* Ability to translate ideas into clear design presentations

* Quick learner with strong attention to detail
