Junior Interior Designer

Role Description The Junior Interior Designer is a full-time, on-site role based in Hyderabad. This role involves supporting senior designers in developing interior concepts, preparing layouts, and assisting with space planning for residential and commercial projects. Day-to-day tasks include creating and updating drawings, coordinating with vendors and contractors, selecting materials and finishes, and assisting with FF&E documentation. The Junior Interior Designer will help prepare presentations, mood boards, and 3D visuals, contribute to site measurements and inspections, and ensure that designs meet project requirements, budget guidelines, and timelines. Collaboration with the design team, clear communication, and a willingness to learn and grow are central to this position.

Qualifications

• Ability to apply core interior design principles, including Interior Design and Space Planning skills.
• Foundational knowledge of Architecture and understanding of building systems and design standards.
• Proficiency in preparing and reading Construction Drawings using relevant design and CAD software.
• Experience or training in FF&E selection, including furniture, fixtures, finishes, and materials coordination.
• Diploma or bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Strong visualization, creativity, and attention to detail, with basic skills in 2D/3D design tools (e.g., SketchUp, Enscape, Revit, or similar).
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback and work in a team-oriented environment.
• Organizational and time-management abilities to handle multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.
• Willingness to visit project sites, coordinate with vendors, and learn industry best practices.
