Role Summary

We are seeking a talented and experienced Millwork Drafter / Joinery Drafter with strong technical expertise and hands-on experience in millwork, joinery, cabinetry, and interior fit-outs. The ideal candidate will possess excellent AutoCAD skills, a solid understanding of architectural millwork and commercial interiors, and the ability to translate design concepts into detailed, production-ready drawings.

Key Responsibilities

# Prepare detailed AutoCAD drawings including plans, elevations, sections, shop drawings, and construction details.

# Create accurate millwork and joinery drawings for cabinetry, furniture, fixtures, and architectural woodwork.

# Develop detailed production-ready drawings and documentation for manufacturing and installation.

# Coordinate with designers, project managers, clients, and production teams to ensure seamless project execution.

# Adapt drawings based on technical requirements, site conditions, and client revisions.

# Ensure all drawings comply with project standards, quality requirements, and manufacturing constraints.

# Assist in estimation activities when required.

# Monitor project timelines and deliver drawing packages within deadlines.

Required Skills & Qualifications

# Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Engineering, Interior Design, Architecture, Drafting, or a related field.

# Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in millwork drafting, joinery detailing, or architectural millwork.

# Strong proficiency in AutoCAD is mandatory, with the ability to produce detailed and accurate shop drawings.

# Proven experience in millwork, joinery, cabinetry, architectural millwork, and custom woodworking projects.

# Good understanding of commercial interior projects, including offices, retail, hospitality, and institutional spaces.

# Hands-on knowledge of materials, finishes, hardware, woodworking methods, and manufacturing processes.

# Experience in Cabinet Vision, Microvellum, Mozaik, or 2020 Design is a strong advantage.

# Prior experience in estimation and quantity take-offs is a plus.

Strong communication and coordination skills.

# Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

# Immediate availability or short notice period is highly preferred.
