Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Interior Designer role based in Bengaluru. The Junior Interior Designer will support senior designers in developing design concepts, space plans, mood boards, and material palettes for residential and commercial projects. Responsibilities include assisting with drawings and documentation, preparing presentations, coordinating FF&E selections, and supporting site visits and measurements. The role involves collaborating with internal teams, vendors, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained through execution. The Junior Interior Designer will also help with client presentations, gather feedback, and incorporate revisions into design and construction documents.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Interior Design and Architecture, with the ability to translate concepts into practical, buildable solutions.
- Skills in Space Planning and Interior Design to develop functional layouts that align with client requirements and building constraints.
- Experience or training in Construction Drawings to assist in preparing detailed plans, sections, and elevations for execution.
- Understanding of FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment) to support selection, specification, and coordination with vendors.
- Proficiency in relevant design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Revit, or similar) and basic knowledge of MS Office or Google Workspace.
- Strong visual, conceptual, and presentation skills, with attention to detail and an eye for materials, textures, and color palettes.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to take feedback, manage time, and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Diploma or bachelor's degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field; internship or 0–2 years of professional experience in interior design is preferred.
