Role OverviewWe are seeking a Junior Interior Designer who is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about turning concepts into reality. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience in residential interiors and be capable of assisting in both design development and on-site execution.
This role involves collaborating with the senior design team, preparing drawings, coordinating project timelines, and contributing to client presentations.
What You'll DoDesign Development & Creative Work- Work with the interior design team to develop creative and practical design solutions.
- Research materials, concepts, themes, and finishes to support the design process.
- Prepare drawings, layouts, models, mood boards, and presentation documents.
- Create computer-based floor plans, 2D layouts, 3D models, and renderings using design software.
Technical & Project Coordination- Understand and formulate design decisions, presenting ideas for internal discussions.
- Work within scheduled timelines to coordinate and complete tasks up to final project delivery.
- Assist in preparing BOQs, material lists, and project commercials.
- Ensure accuracy and quality in all design documentation.
Client & Site Collaboration- Participate in client meetings, presentations, and design discussions.
- Conduct site visits to observe progress, verify installations, and suggest improvements.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and execution teams to maintain design integrity.
RequirementsExperience & Expertise- 12 years of experience in interior designing (preferably residential projects).
- Strong leadership, management, and mentoring abilities.
- Knowledge of costing, BOQs, and commercial preparation.
- Solid understanding of interior materials, finishes, and execution standards.
