Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Interior Designer to support our interior design team in delivering high-quality design and execution for a variety of projects. The role involves assisting in design development, site coordination, and the preparation of technical drawings, while learning through hands-on experience and collaboration with senior team members.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Work as part of a collaborative team of interior designers.
2. Take on-site measurements and assist in preparing accurate site reports.
3. Contribute to the development of design alternatives and layout plans as per client requirements.
4. Assist in the process of finalising design layouts.
5. Understand and incorporate the design considerations of services like HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and fire-fighting systems.
6. Coordinate with service consultants (e.g., Electrical, HVAC) as instructed by the senior team or project head.
7. Assist in the preparation of detailed designs and working drawings.
8. Collect drawings and layouts from consultants and ensure proper integration.
9. Maintain proper filing systems and records of drawings, reports, and communication.
10. Do not discuss project costs or contractor rates with outsiders unless explicitly instructed.
11. Provide daily updates and progress reports to the assigned Project Head or Director.
12. Perform any other task relevant to the position as assigned.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Interior Design or Architecture
13 years of experience in interior design or related field
Proficiency in AutoCAD; knowledge of SketchUp, MS Office, and design presentation tools is a plus
Understanding of interior detailing, basic services coordination, and site measurements
