This is a great opportunity for fresh graduates or early-career professionals who want to gain hands-on exposure across all stages of design from concept development to execution on real projects.
Roles & Responsibilities
Design & Drawings
- Preparing conceptual sketches, schematic drawings, and presentation layouts.
- Developing Detailed working (GFC) drawings with accuracy and clean drafting logic.
- Creating 3D models and visualizations to aid in design development.
- Producing renderings and presentation graphics that clearly communicate design intent.
- Preparing BOQs (Bill of Quantities), assisting in costing, and supporting value engineering exercises with contractors to find smarter, cost-efficient design solutions.
- Generating material dockets, specification sheets, and finish schedules.
Site & Coordination
- Visiting project sites regularly to ensure work is executed with precision and as per drawings.
- Taking site measurements and preparing existing building drawings.
- Coordinating with vendors, contractors, and consultants to resolve on-site issues.
- Preparing MOM (Minutes of Meeting) after each site visit and tracking follow-ups.
- Coordinating photoshoots, accessory selections, and site styling at project handover.
Research & Documentation
- Researching materials, finishes, lighting, and new detailing methods.
- Maintaining and updating the studio's material and sample library.
- Organizing digital and physical file systems for easy access and clarity.
- Preparing and maintaining documentation like drawing issue logs and transmittals.
- Conducting contextual and material studies to support the design process.
Presentation & Communication
- Preparing client presentations and marketing decks.
- Designing and curating Pinterest or reference boards for ongoing projects.
- Creating graphics and content for company marketing and portfolio purposes.
- Communicating effectively with clients, vendors, and team members, both in person and over email.
Innovation & Learning
- Actively exploring new tools, workflows, and ways to improve design efficiency.
- Taking initiative to propose better methods for drawing production, graphic quality, and organization.
- Learning from feedback, understanding the design process deeply, and growing with each project.
