Job Summary

We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Instructional Designer to support the design and development of high-quality digital learning solutions for corporate clients. The ideal candidate should possess a strong foundation in instructional design principles, excellent content development skills, and an interest in emerging learning technologies and AI-enabled learning tools.

The role involves collaborating with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), Project Managers, Designers, and other stakeholders to create engaging, learner-centric training materials that align with client objectives and business goals.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in analyzing training requirements and gathering information from Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and stakeholders.
  • Design and develop learning content such as e-learning modules, storyboards, scripts, participant guides, job aids, microlearning assets, and assessments.
  • Create clear learning objectives and structure content into engaging learning experiences.
  • Develop quizzes, knowledge checks, and other assessment activities to support learning outcomes.
  • Work closely with Project Managers, SMEs, Graphic Designers, and Developers during the course development process.
  • Use e-learning authoring tools and other digital learning technologies to develop learning solutions.
  • Review and update existing learning content based on feedback, project requirements, and content changes.
  • Participate in content reviews and quality checks to ensure accuracy, consistency, and instructional effectiveness.
  • Support course testing and deployment activities on learning platforms and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Assist in tracking learner feedback and identifying opportunities for content improvement.
  • Stay updated on instructional design trends, digital learning practices, and emerging learning technologies, including AI-powered tools.
  • Support multiple learning projects while adhering to project timelines and quality standards.

Skills & Competencies

  • Basic understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning concepts.
  • Familiarity with instructional design models such as ADDIE and Bloom's Taxonomy.
  • Experience creating storyboards, scripts, assessments, and learning materials.
  • Working knowledge of e-learning authoring tools such as Articulate Storyline, Rise 360, Adobe Captivate, Camtasia, or similar tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
  • Basic understanding of Learning Management Systems (LMS) is preferred.
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted content creation tools is an advantage.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work effectively in a remote environment.

Educational Qualification

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Instructional Design, English, Communication, Psychology, Human Resources, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related discipline.
  • Relevant certifications in Instructional Design, E-Learning Development, Learning & Development, or Train-the-Trainer (TTT) will be an added advantage.
