A Junior Graphic Designer who can support the creative team by producing visual content for digital and print media. Will report to the Asst. Manager and be working alongside the Senior Designer. Primary focus to be on executing design tasks, refining existing assets, and learning industry standards through feedback.
Key Responsibilities
- Asset Creation: Design graphics for social media, email campaigns, website banners, and marketing collateral like flyers and brochures.
- Design Support: Assist senior designer with layout adjustments, typography selection, photo retouching, and color correction.
- Brand Adherence: Ensure all designs follow established brand guidelines, maintaining consistency across various platforms.
- Project Maintenance: Organise and archive design files, update existing templates, and prepare final artwork for print or digital production.
- Collaboration: Participate in brainstorming sessions and incorporate feedback from stakeholders to improve design solutions.
Essential Skills & Qualifications
- Education: A Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, Visual Communication or a related field.
- Software Proficiency: Mastery of the Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) is a standard requirement. Knowledge of Figma, Canva, or Premiere Pro is a plus.
- Design Fundamentals: Strong understanding of visual hierarchy, layout, color theory, and typography.
- Experience: 12 years of experience, including internships or freelance work.
- Language: Proficiency in English is a must.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication, time management, and a high level of openness to constructive criticism.
