About the Role

A Junior Graphic Designer is sought to help shape the visual expression of a deep-tech organization with teams in Bangalore and London. This role focuses on producing clean, modern, carefully constructed design assets across digital and print channelssupporting product communication, presentations, social media, and digital campaigns. You'll collaborate closely with senior design and marketing stakeholders to deliver materials that are consistent with our brand and tailored to multiple formats and platforms.

The ideal candidate brings a strong foundation in layout, typography, and visual hierarchy, along with confident proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Figma. You should be able to translate complex, technical ideas into elegant and coherent visual outputs, while working efficiently through feedback and iteration. This position reports to Applied Computing's Design Lead, a seasoned design professional who is passionate about high-quality output and creating standout company assets that help us communicate clearly and compete distinctively.

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field complemented by strong a portfolio demonstrating design thinking and execution.
• 3-6 years of experience working for digitally led start-up or scale up.
• Strong foundational design skills: layout, typography, color theory, and visual hierarchy.
• Basic understanding of digital design formats and specs (web, social, email).
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and stay organized.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Profeciency in Adobe Premiere Pro for creating short product explainers or social media reels - considered a strong plus.
• Based in, or open to relocation to, Bengaluru.
  
  

• Assist in designing marketing and brand materials such as social media graphics, brochures, posters, presentations, ads, and email visuals.

• Support the creation of digital assets for websites, landing pages, and basic UI elements.
• Prepare production-ready files for print and digital distribution.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and content teams to understand project goals and deliver visuals aligned with brand standards.
• Adapt existing designs into multiple sizes/formats for different platforms.
• Participate in brainstorming and contribute design ideas for campaigns and content.
• Manage and organize design files, templates, and asset libraries.
• Incorporate feedback positively and revise designs efficiently.
• Stay informed about design trends, tools, and best practices.
