About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Frontend Engineer (Freelancer) to support advanced AI evaluation initiatives focused on frontend development, responsive user interfaces, and modern web technologies.
In this role, you will work with AI-generated outputs related to frontend frameworks, UI components, responsive layouts, accessibility, and web application workflows, helping improve how AI models generate and reason about production-quality frontend solutions.
You will collaborate with global AI and engineering teams to assess the correctness, usability, and maintainability of AI-generated code and interface designs. Your contributions will directly enhance AI systems used for coding assistance, web development, and frontend engineering workflows.
Responsibilities
- Create deliverables addressing common requests within your professional domain, including webpage layouts, UI components, and frontend optimization strategies
- Annotate and evaluate AI-generated frontend code responses across different software engineering scenarios
- Review peer-developed deliverables to enhance AI research quality and consistency
- Diagnose and solve real-world frontend development challenges to improve AI reasoning capabilities
- Assess AI-generated code for responsiveness, accessibility, maintainability, and visual consistency
- Identify bugs, styling inconsistencies, layout issues, or inefficient implementations in AI-generated solutions and provide structured feedback
- Contribute domain expertise to improve AI models focused on frontend development and web technologies
Requirements
- Background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development, or a related field
- Strong understanding of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive web design principles
- Familiarity with frontend frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue is preferred
- Basic understanding of APIs, state management, and modern development workflows
- Ability to critically evaluate UI layouts, frontend code quality, and user experience
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
