Brik Oven is dedicated to making authentic wood-fired pizza using fresh cheeses and hand-stretched dough crafted with original Neapolitan techniques. Customers enjoy our lightly charred pizzas alongside a curated selection of salads, wines, desserts, and shakes.

The Junior F&B Trainer (service) plays a key role in bringing Brik Oven's service and food excellence to life. This role focuses on training and developing the Front of House teams - ensuring every team member understands our standards, lives our culture, and delivers consistent quality.

This person brings energy, structure, and creativity to every session making learning fun, practical, and impactful.

Key Responsibilities:

1. FOH Training Delivery

Conduct onboarding, service excellence, upselling, and guest interaction training for FOH teams.

Deliver engaging and interactive sessions using role plays, games, and real-life scenarios.

Reinforce Brik Oven's values of warmth, professionalism, and guest delight.

2. Assessment & Performance Tracking

Conduct pre and post-training evaluations to measure knowledge, skill, and behavioral improvements.

Track completion, attendance, and performance impact of all F&B training.

Identify team members ready for role progression or advanced development.

3. Content Creation & Development

Support in designing new modules, visual aids, and SOPs for F&B operations.

Bring creativity to content delivery - use visuals, videos, and demonstrations to enhance retention.

4. Culture & Engagement

Be the spark that keeps learning fun and engaging across outlets and teams.

Build rapport with employees to create a culture of continuous learning.

Promote teamwork, and cross-department respect in all sessions.

5. LMS Handling

Encourage use of LMS platform for self learning, attendance tracking, report generation

Support in ensuring timely update of any revised SOPs on LMS

Actively train new members on the usage of LMS and its importance career progression

Skills & Attributes:

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills. Languages - English, Hindi
  • Energetic, confident, and engaging presence - able to hold and motivate a crowd.
  • Strong understanding of F&B operations - service (understanding of kitchen operations will be an added advantage)
  • Good organizational skills with a focus on execution and follow-through.
  • Creative and adaptable training style.
  • Passionate about people development and guest experience.

Qualification & Experience:

  • Preferably, a Bachelor's degree in Hospitality, Hotel Management, or a related field.
  • About 1 year of experience in F&B training with reputed 4-star or 5-star hotels/restaurants or F&B brands.
  • Exposure to multi-outlet or QSR training setups preferred.
  • Willingness to travel to outlets across Bangalore (or other cities when the occasion arises).
  • Familiarity with Canva, and Clipchamp for poster & basic video editing for creating training content.
