Role Purpose
We are seeking a Junior Execution Trader to support portfolio managers in trade execution and operational processes. This role is ideal for a fresh graduate (MBA from a top-ranked college) with strong analytical skills and a keen interest in markets and trading.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor trades/algorithms as instructed by the Portfolio Manager with accuracy and timeliness.
- Manage, upload, and reconcile trades and P&L reports.
- Coordinate with counterparties, including brokers and operations teams, on trade settlement and risk reconciliation.
- Perform trade and strategy analysis to support portfolio decision-making.
- Apply basic programming skills to automate trade/strategy processes and reporting.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls and operational procedures.
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: MBA from tier 1 B-Schools in India (2025 or 2024 graduates preferred).
- Strong interest in trading, markets, and investment strategies the CV should show firm interest in financial markets
- Theoretical and/or practical knowledge of basic financial products derivations, fixed income, equities
- Basic programming knowledge (e.g., Python, VBA, SQL) to support automation.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and quantitative skills.
- Detail-oriented with a disciplined, results-driven approach.
- Strong communication and coordination skills.
