Junior Estimator/Quantity Surveyor

Job Summary:

Graniti Vicentia India Pvt Ltd is looking for a dedicated Quantity Surveyor with expertise in architecture interiors to join our team. The Quantity Surveyor will play a crucial role in estimating project costs, conducting quantity takeoffs, and managing the financial aspects of interior design and architectural projects. This position requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of construction materials, methods, and costs.

Responsibilities:

Quantity Takeoffs: Conduct detailed quantity takeoffs for interior design and architectural projects, including materials, labor, and other resources required.

Cost Estimation: Prepare accurate cost estimates based on quantity takeoffs, considering market rates, suppliers, and vendorquotations.

Budget Management: Collaborate with project managers and architects to establish project budgets and track costs throughout the project lifecycle.

Cost Analysis: Analyze cost variances and propose cost-saving measures without compromising project quality.

Bid Management: Assist in the preparation of bid documents, including bills of quantities (BOQs), and evaluate bids from vendors and suppliers.

Value Engineering: Identify opportunities for value engineering to optimize project costs while maintaining design intent.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor in architecture interiors or civil projects.

In-depth knowledge of construction materials, methods, and costs, especially in the context of interior design and architecture.

Proficiency in estimation softwares like OST, Bluebeam is a plus

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Excellent communication and negotiation skills.

Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Proficiency in excel spreadsheet.

1-2 Years of Experience is preferred.
