Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Junior Doctor cum Counsellor based in Lucknow. The role involves providing clinical support in fertility and reproductive health, including taking patient histories, assisting senior doctors during consultations and procedures, and monitoring treatment progress under supervision. The Junior Doctor cum Counsellor will offer empathetic counselling to patients and partners, explain treatment options, address concerns, and help manage expectations throughout the fertility journey. Daily responsibilities include maintaining accurate medical records, coordinating with nursing and administrative staff, supporting diagnostic and treatment protocols, and ensuring adherence to clinical guidelines. The role also involves patient education, participation in case discussions, and contributing to a positive, confidential, and trust-based patient experience.

Qualifications

• Medical qualifications such as BAMS/BUMS/BHMS only, with valid registration as per local regulatory requirements.
• Foundational knowledge of obstetrics, gynecology, or reproductive medicine, and interest in fertility and IVF care.
• Strong counselling and patient communication skills, with the ability to explain complex medical information in a clear and compassionate manner.
• Willingness to learn, adapt to protocols, and participate in ongoing training and professional development.
• Prior experience in fertility, women's health, or counselling is an advantage but not mandatory for motivated junior doctors.
