Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Dialysis Equipment Preparation: Set up and prepare dialysis machines for patient use, including connecting tubes, checking equipment functionality, and calibrating instruments.
  • Patient Monitoring: Observe patients during dialysis sessions, record vital signs (blood pressure, pulse, respiration), and identify any signs of discomfort or adverse reactions. Report concerns promptly to supervising nurses or physicians.
  • Medication Administration: Administer and adjust medication dosages as prescribed by physicians, ensuring patient safety.
  • Record-Keeping: Maintain accurate medical records, documenting patient care, vital signs, medications, and any adverse reactions.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Clean, sterilize, and maintain dialysis equipment according to safety and infection control protocols.
  • Patient Support: Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients and their families throughout the dialysis process.
