About The Role
We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic Junior DevOps Engineer to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a foundational understanding of DevOps practices and cloud infrastructure to gain hands-on experience and grow their career. You'll support the automation, deployment, and monitoring of our systems, working closely with senior DevOps engineers and developers.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines.
- Support the configuration, deployment, and monitoring of cloud-based infrastructure.
- Help manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestration tools.
- Participate in troubleshooting issues across development, test, and production environments. Monitor system performance and assist in responding to alerts and incidents.
- Contribute to Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve deployment processes and system reliability. Document processes, configurations, and procedures.
Required Skills And Qualifications
- 0–2 years of experience in a DevOps, System Administration, or related role.
- Basic understanding of cloud platforms (AWS preferred; Azure or GCP also welcome).
- Exposure to CI/CD tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD).
- Familiarity with Linux-based systems and basic shell scripting.
- Understanding of version control (e.g., Git). Knowledge of containers (Docker) and an interest in learning orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
- Strong desire to learn and grow in the DevOps field. Good communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner or any entry-level cloud certification.
- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform, Ansible, etc.).
- Familiarity with monitoring/logging tools (e.g., CloudWatch, Grafana, ELK stack).
