The Team

Capability Hubs (CH) is a mature set of cross-functional capabilities that enable the go-to-market agenda, corporate functions and engagement support teams of KPMG firms.

Working closely with KPMG firms, which leverage our teams for enablement across functions such as Insights & Risk management, Sales Enablement, Digital Experience & Business Services, Technology Services and Transformation, CH forms an integral part of KGS strategy to innovate, build, scale and improve profitability.

Role Overview

The Junior Azure Integration Services Developer supports the development, testing, and deployment of cloud-based integrations using Azure Integration Services (AIS) under the guidance of senior developers and architects. The role focuses on implementing approved integration designs and building integration components using Azure Logic Apps, Azure Functions, and Azure messaging services. This position is ideal for early-career professionals looking to build strong foundational skills in cloud integration, APIs, messaging, and enterprise development practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop integration workflows based on approved High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD) documents.
• Implement integrations using Azure Logic Apps (Consumption or Standard) and/or Azure Function Apps.
• Support synchronous, asynchronous, publishsubscribe, and file-based integration patterns.
• Assist with data mapping, transformation, and basic orchestration logic between source and target systems.
• Implement standard error handling and configurable retry mechanisms as per integration guidelines.
• Perform unit testing of integration components and assist during System Integration Testing (SIT) and User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
• Update and maintain technical documentation including integration flow diagrams and interface specifications.
• Support CI/CD pipeline execution and validate deployments across multiple environments.
• Collaborate with senior developers and DevOps teams to resolve functional and technical issues.

Qualifications

Experience Band

24 years of experience in application development, middleware development, or integration support roles.

Technical Skills & Experience

• Basic hands-on experience with Azure Logic Apps or Azure Functions.
• Understanding of REST APIs, HTTP concepts, messaging, and integration fundamentals.
• Exposure to Azure Integration Services such as Service Bus and Event Grid is an advantage.
• Familiarity with Git-based source control systems.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Strong willingness to learn Azure integration technologies, patterns, and design principles.

Preferred Qualifications

• Microsoft Azure AZ-900 (Azure Fundamentals) certification.
• Microsoft Azure AZ-204 (Developing Solutions for Microsoft Azure) certification.
• Exposure to enterprise integration or middleware platforms.
