Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Designer role based in Chennai. The Junior Designer will support senior designers and project engineers by preparing drawings, layouts, and basic design concepts for construction projects. Daily tasks include assisting with design documentation, updating plans based on feedback, coordinating with site teams to clarify design details, and maintaining organized records of drawings and revisions. The role also involves collaborating with colleagues to ensure that designs meet project specifications, quality standards, and local regulations. The Junior Designer is expected to participate in design reviews, learn company standards, and contribute to continuous improvement of design processes.

Qualifications

• Foundational design skills using relevant software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp,or similar tools).
• Basic understanding of construction drawings, building layouts, and design principles.
• Strong attention to detail, with the ability to follow instructions and implement feedback accurately.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills for working with designers, engineers, and site teams.
• Ability to manage time, handle multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Educational background in Architecture, Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or a related field (diploma or degree).
• Willingness to work on-site in Chennai and learn from hands-on project experience.
• Prior internship or junior-level experience in design or construction is an advantage but not mandatory.
