Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Data Engineer role based in Hyderabad. The Junior Data Engineer will support the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines on Azure, Microsoft Fabric, and related services. Daily tasks include building and monitoring ETL workflows, assisting with data ingestion from multiple sources, and preparing data models to support analytics and reporting in Power BI. The role involves working with senior engineers to implement lakehouse and warehouse structures, optimize query performance, and ensure data quality, integrity, and security. The Junior Data Engineer will also collaborate with business and analytics teams to understand requirements, document technical solutions, and contribute to continuous improvement of data engineering practices.

Qualifications

• · Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Data Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience) is preferred.
• 3 to 5 years of experience in data engineering, with a focus on designing and building data solutions on the Azure cloud platform.
• Candidates should possess foundational skills in Data Engineering and experience working with Azure data services (such as Azure Data Factory, Synapse, or Fabric).
• Candidates should possess skills in Data Modeling and Data Warehousing to design structured, scalable datasets for analytics and reporting.
• Candidates should possess skills in Extract Transform Load (ETL) and Data Analytics to build reliable pipelines and support insights delivery in tools like Power BI.
• Basic understanding of SQL and one programming or scripting language commonly used in data engineering (for example, Python, Scala, or .NET) is preferred.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and Azure cloud concepts, along with a strong interest in modern data platforms, is highly beneficial.
• Effective problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and the capacity to collaborate in a team-oriented, on-site environment are required.
