We are looking for a Junior Data Analyst who is strong with numbers and curious about how hospitality businesses make money. This role will support revenue tracking, P&L analysis, and inventory performance across HelloWorld's short-stay and co-living properties.
You will work closely with senior team members, operations, and founders to turn data into simple, actionable insights that help improve occupancy, pricing, and profitability.
Key Responsibilities
1. Data Collection & Interpretation
- Compile and clean data related to bookings, occupancy, pricing, and revenue
- Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly performance reports
- Identify basic trends and flag unusual changes in data
2. P&L & Financial Support
- Assist in preparing property-level P&L statements
- Track revenue, costs, and margins for short stays and long stays
- Help compare budget vs actuals and highlight variances
3. Revenue & Pricing Support
- Track room rates, discounts, and booking performance across channels
- Support analysis for pricing and revenue optimisation
- Monitor occupancy and revenue impact of offers and promotions
4. Inventory & Operations Analysis
- Track available inventory vs sold inventory
- Analyse vacancy gaps, length of stay, and utilisation trends
- Support operations team with data to improve room availability and turnaround time
5. Reporting & Dashboards
- Maintain dashboards using Excel / Google Sheets / BI tools
- Present insights in a clear and easy-to-understand format
- Ensure data accuracy and consistency across reports
Skills & Qualifications
Required
- 03 years of experience in data analytics, business analytics, or finance analytics
- Strong working knowledge of Excel / Google Sheets
- Basic understanding of P&L and financial statements
- Comfort working with numbers and large datasets
- Willingness to learn hospitality and co-living business models
Good to Have
- Exposure to hospitality, hotels, co-living, or real estate data
- Basic knowledge of SQL or BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker)
- Understanding of metrics like occupancy %, ADR, revenue per room
