Skillzenloop is hiring a Cyber Security Intern to work on real-world security tasks and help protect systems, applications, and data from potential threats. This role is ideal for students and freshers who are interested in cybersecurity and want hands-on experience in identifying vulnerabilities, monitoring systems, and implementing basic security practices.

Key Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring systems and networks for security threats

Perform basic vulnerability assessments and security checks

Support in identifying and fixing security issues in applications and systems

Work on security tools and frameworks for threat detection

Analyze logs and reports to detect unusual activities

Assist in implementing security policies and best practices

Conduct basic research on emerging cybersecurity threats

Document findings, vulnerabilities, and security recommendations

Required Skills

Basic understanding of cybersecurity concepts and principles

Familiarity with networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, HTTP/HTTPS)

Knowledge of operating systems like Linux or Windows

Awareness of common vulnerabilities (OWASP Top 10 is a plus)

Basic understanding of firewalls, encryption, and authentication

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Attention to detail and a security-focused mindset

Ability to work independently in a remote environment

Eligibility Criteria

Students or recent graduates from Computer Science, IT, Cyber Security, or related fields

Freshers with basic cybersecurity knowledge are encouraged to apply

Must be available for a full-time remote internship
