Junior Cyber security Analyst

Looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Cyber Security Analyst to join the security team. The candidate will assist in monitoring security systems, identifying vulnerabilities, and responding to potential threats. This role is ideal for someone passionate about cybersecurity and eager to grow in a remote work environment.

Key Responsibilities

Monitor security alerts and incidents using SIEM tools

Analyze logs, network traffic, and system activities

Assist in vulnerability assessments and penetration testing

Identify and report security threats and suspicious activities

Support incident response and investigation processes

Conduct basic risk assessments and security audits

Maintain documentation of security events and findings

Ensure compliance with security policies and best practices

Required Skills & Qualifications

02 years of experience in Cyber Security / IT Security

Basic understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, Firewalls)

Knowledge of security concepts (Malware, Phishing, Ransomware, IDS/IPS)

Familiarity with SIEM tools (Splunk, QRadar, etc.)

Basic knowledge of Linux and Windows systems

Understanding of cybersecurity frameworks (NIST, ISO 27001)

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

Good communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

Certifications like CEH, Security+, or equivalent

Knowledge of ethical hacking basics

Familiarity with cloud security (AWS / Azure / GCP)

Experience with vulnerability scanning tools (Nessus, OpenVAS)
