About the Role:

We are looking for a talented Junior Designer to join our creative team. The ideal candidate should have strong skills in video editing, high-quality graphics creation, UI/UX, and a deep understanding of design trends. You will be responsible for producing engaging visual content for social media, ads, and other digital platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Create high-quality graphics, videos, and motion graphics for social media, websites, and marketing campaigns.

Edit and enhance videos using professional video editing software (Premiere Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, etc.).

Design visually appealing content using Photoshop, Canva, and other graphic design tools.

Utilize AI tools (e.g., Midjourney, Runway, Adobe Firefly) to enhance design workflows and creativity.

Stay updated with the latest design trends, and social media specs.

Work closely with the marketing and social media teams to ensure visually appealing and brand-consistent content.

Optimize videos and graphics for different platforms (Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, etc.).

Experiment with new tools and techniques to improve the quality and impact of designs.

Design intuitive and user-friendly interfaces for websites, web apps, and mobile applications.

Create wireframes, user flows, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.

Build and maintain design systems, component libraries, and style guides for consistency across products.

Collaborate with developers to ensure accurate design handoff and pixel-perfect implementation.

Design responsive layouts optimized for desktop, tablet, and mobile breakpoints.

Conduct basic user research, competitor analysis, and usability reviews to inform design decisions.

Iterate on designs based on feedback, analytics, and usability testing insights.

Create landing pages and campaign micro-sites in coordination with the marketing team.

Requirements:

1-2 years of experience in graphic design and video editing.

Proficiency in industry software like Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere Pro, Canva, and After Effects.

Familiarity with AI-powered design tools and ability to adapt to new technologies.

Strong knowledge of current market trends, social media best practices, and platform algorithms.

A creative mindset with attention to detail and a passion for visual storytelling.

Ability to work on multiple projects and meet deadlines.

Able to visualise and articulate concepts and designs.

Experience in motion graphics and animation is a plus.

Hands-on proficiency in Figma (auto-layout, components, variants, prototyping, dev mode).

Working knowledge of Adobe XD, Sketch, or Framer is a plus.

Understanding of UI fundamentals: typography, colour theory, spacing, grids, and visual hierarchy.

Familiarity with UX principles, information architecture, and accessibility standards (WCAG basics).

Knowledge of responsive and mobile-first design practices.

Basic understanding of HTML/CSS to communicate effectively with developers (good to have).

Experience with prototyping and micro-interaction tools such as Figma Smart Animate, Principle, or Lottie.

Familiarity with collaboration and handoff tools like Zeplin, Miro, Notion, Jira, or Slack.

A portfolio demonstrating UI/UX work — app screens, websites, or case studies.
