Role Overview

We're not looking for someone who writes like a textbook. We want a fresh, Gen Z voice — someone who lives on the internet, gets culture, and knows how to stop the scroll. If you can write a punchy Instagram caption, a compelling LinkedIn hook, and a heartfelt blog post all in the same morning, this one's for you.

Key Responsibilities

• Write short-form copy for social media (Instagram, LinkedIn, X) that is native, engaging, and on-trend
• Develop creative content — hooks, storytelling posts, carousel scripts, and meme-style formats — that resonates with Gen Z students
• Write blog articles, guides, and landing page copy on study abroad, university admissions, and student life
• Collaborate with the marketing team on campaign briefs, content calendars, and creative concepts
• Adapt brand voice and tone across formats — from a witty tweet to an in-depth explainer
• Optimise content for SEO and stay on top of platform algorithm trends
• Proofread and self-edit to ensure all content is sharp, accurate, and on-brand

What We're Looking For

• A Gen Z writer who is deeply online and understands how people consume content today
• Strong written English with the ability to switch between playful, witty, and informative tones
• A flair for creative writing — storytelling, wordplay, punchy hooks, and relatable copy
• Natural instinct for short-form content across Instagram, LinkedIn, and short-video scripts
• Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Mass Communication, or a related field (recent grads welcome)
• Basic understanding of SEO and how content performs across platforms
• Eagerness to take feedback, experiment, and grow fast

Good to Have

• A portfolio, personal blog, newsletter, or even a social account that shows your writing voice
• Experience writing for or managing a brand/student community page
• Knowledge of the international student or ed-tech space
• Familiarity with tools like Notion, Canva, or basic keyword research tools
