About the Role
We are looking for a Junior Content Producer (Tamil) who will play a pivotal role in transforming stories into immersive, serialized audio narratives. You will work closely with writers, voice artists, and the production team to create emotionally engaging audio content tailored for Tamil-speaking audiences.
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify and curate engaging Tamil stories suitable for audio adaptation, with a strong focus on drama, emotions, and episodic appeal.
- Adapt selected stories into audio-ready scripts by structuring episodes, building cliffhangers, and enhancing dialogues for maximum listener engagement.
- Collaborate with original writers to preserve narrative tone, cultural authenticity, and emotional integrity.
- Coordinate with voice artists and production teams to ensure high-quality and timely content delivery.
- Contribute fresh creative ideas for new formats, adaptations, and serialized storytelling tailored to Tamil audiences.
- Ensure all content aligns with platform guidelines, audience expectations, and Tamil cultural sensibilities.
What we are looking for:
- Strong command of Tamil with excellent storytelling, editing, and rewriting skills.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in fiction writing, serialized storytelling, adaptation, or editorial work.
- Ability to interpret creative briefs and align work with editorial direction.
- Skilled in restructuring narratives, sharpening emotional beats, and crafting cliffhangers.
- Reliable, deadline-driven, and comfortable in a fast-paced creative environment.
Good to have:
- Experience working with audiobooks, scripted podcasts, radio dramas, or similar audio formats.
- Familiarity with long-form serialized fiction (e.g., web novels, screenplay writing, or TV-style serials).
