Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Consultant Cardiac Anesthetist role based in Bengaluru. The role involves providing perioperative cardiac anesthesia care to patients undergoing cardiac and related procedures, including pre-operative evaluation, intra-operative monitoring, and post-operative management. The Junior Consultant will work closely with cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, intensivists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe anesthesia delivery and optimal patient outcomes. Daily responsibilities include participating in cardiac OT schedules, managing emergency cardiac anesthesia cases, ensuring adherence to clinical protocols, and maintaining accurate medical documentation. The role also includes contributing to quality improvement initiatives, participating in clinical discussions, and supporting training activities for junior medical staff where required.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Medicine and Cardiology, with training in cardiac anesthesia and perioperative cardiac care.
• Experience in Emergency Medicine and acute cardiac care, including stabilization and anesthesia management in urgent and emergent situations.
• Ability to work effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary clinical teams, demonstrating collaborative decision-making and clear communication.
• Commitment to Training and continuous professional development, including mentoring junior staff and staying updated with current cardiac anesthesia practices.
• Recognized medical degree (MBBS) and relevant postgraduate qualification in Anesthesiology; cardiac anesthesia fellowship or equivalent experience is preferred.
• Valid medical registration and eligibility to practice in India, with adherence to professional and ethical standards.
• Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and ability to work in high-acuity, fast-paced environments.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including on-call duties, as per departmental requirements.
