Junior Chassis Design Engineer-PMO

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Project Coordinator to support engineering and product development projects. The ideal candidate will have experience in project coordination, stakeholder management, and reporting, along with strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and MS Office tools. Exposure to chassis design or automotive engineering projects will be an added advantage. This role requires effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure project timelines, deliverables, and documentation are managed efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate project activities and support project managers in planning, tracking, and execution of engineering projects.
• Maintain project schedules, action trackers, risk registers, and status reports using Excel and other Microsoft tools.
• Prepare and analyze project data, dashboards, and management reports to track project progress and key milestones.
• Collaborate with engineering teams involved in chassis design and development activities.
• Facilitate communication between internal teams, customers, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Track project deliverables, identify potential delays, and escalate risks when required.
• Support project reviews, meetings, and presentations by preparing documentation and meeting minutes.
• Ensure project documents, design records, and reports are properly maintained and updated.
• Assist in resource planning, task allocation tracking, and project budget monitoring.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and process compliance within the project environment.

Required Skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel
• Good working knowledge of MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams).
• Understanding of project coordination and project lifecycle management.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and stakeholder management.
• Exposure to engineering or automotive projects, preferably related to chassis design/development.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet project deadlines.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or related field.
• Experience in automotive product development or engineering services environment.
• Familiarity with project management tools such as MS Project, Jira, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of engineering documentation and change management processes is desirable.
