DigitalSpan is a growing digital marketing and technology company helping businesses improve their online visibility, generate leads, and scale through a combination of digital marketing, SEO, AI-driven solutions, website development, social media, automation, and business growth services.

As we continue to grow, we are looking for an ambitious and proactive (Junior) Business Development Manager who can help us identify new opportunities, build relationships, and convert prospects into long-term clients.
Role Overview
As a (Junior) Business Development Manager, your primary responsibility will be to generate new business opportunities for DigitalSpan.
You will research potential clients, identify the right decision-makers, conduct outreach, qualify opportunities, organize meetings, support proposal development, and gradually take more ownership of the complete sales process.
This role is suitable for someone early in their business development or sales career who is commercially minded, comfortable communicating with people, and eager to grow into a more senior business development position.
Key Responsibilities
Lead Generation & Prospecting
- Identify potential clients that match DigitalSpan's target customer profiles.
- Research companies, industries, and decision-makers.
- Build and continuously improve prospect lists.
- Generate leads through LinkedIn, email outreach, networking, referrals, events, and other channels.
- Identify opportunities within existing networks and client relationships.
- Maintain a consistent pipeline of qualified opportunities.
Outreach & Relationship Building
- Conduct personalized outreach through LinkedIn, email, phone, and other channels.
- Start conversations with prospective clients and understand their business needs.
- Follow up consistently with leads and opportunities.
- Build professional relationships with decision-makers.
- Represent DigitalSpan professionally in external conversations.
Sales Qualification
- Understand a prospect's business, challenges, objectives, budget, and decision-making process.
- Identify which DigitalSpan services could create the most value for the prospect.
- Qualify opportunities before involving senior management or specialist teams.
- Prepare relevant information before discovery and proposal meetings.
Meetings & Proposals
- Schedule and participate in client discovery meetings.
- Gradually take responsibility for leading initial sales conversations.
- Coordinate with DigitalSpan specialists to develop suitable solutions.
- Support preparation of proposals, presentations, quotations, and follow-up communication.
- Ensure prospects receive timely and professional follow-up.
Pipeline Management
- Keep the CRM and internal sales trackers updated.
- Maintain accurate information regarding leads, opportunities, next actions, expected value, and probability.
- Follow up on open proposals and sales opportunities.
- Provide regular pipeline updates to management.
- Identify bottlenecks and recommend actions to improve conversion.

You are not expected to be a technical expert in every service. However, you should understand the business value well enough to identify opportunities and bring the right internal experts into the conversation.
Key Performance Areas

- Pipeline value created
- Proposal opportunities generated
- Revenue generated from self-created leads
- Follow-up discipline
- CRM and reporting accuracy

The most important expectation is that you are able to consistently create new business opportunities, rather than relying only on leads generated by others.

Preferred Background
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Marketing, Sales, Management, Communications, or a related field
- 0–3 years of experience in business development, sales, lead generation, account management, recruitment, consulting, or a similar client-facing role
- Experience with LinkedIn prospecting or cold outreach is an advantage
- Experience with CRM systems is an advantage
- Previous exposure to digital marketing, SaaS, technology, agencies, or B2B services is a plus
- Experience working with international clients is a plus
Strong candidates with limited professional experience but excellent communication skills, commercial thinking, and the right attitude are also encouraged to apply.
