Primary Title: Junior Business Analyst
About The Opportunity
A role in the IT services sector supporting B2B digital transformation and software delivery for enterprise customers across India. The team delivers technical solutions and managed services that require strong requirement analysis, process mapping, and cross-functional coordination. This is an on-site position based in India.
Role & Responsibilities
- Gather and analyse functional and non-functional requirements from stakeholders; translate into clear user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Create process maps, workflows and functional specifications to guide engineering and QA teams.
- Maintain and prioritise backlog in JIRA; document features, decisions and designs in Confluence.
- Coordinate and execute UATwrite test cases, validate results, track defects and follow issues through to closure.
- Perform basic data validation and reporting using SQL and Excel to support requirement validation and business decisions.
- Facilitate stakeholder communication: run demo sessions, prepare release notes and support go-live activities.
Skills & Qualifications
Must-Have
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, Business or related discipline.
- 02 years experience in a Business Analyst, System Analyst, or related role within IT services or software delivery.
- Hands-on experience with SQL and Microsoft Excel for data analysis and validation.
- Practical use of JIRA and Confluence; experience writing user stories and acceptance criteria.
- Familiarity with Agile Scrum processes and experience coordinating UAT.
- Strong documentation skills and ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders on-site.
Preferred
- Foundational BA certification (ECBA) or coursework in business analysis.
- Familiarity with Power BI, Visio or wireframing tools for process visualisation.
- Prior exposure to SaaS, telecom or enterprise B2B IT services projects.
