Job SummaryWe are looking for a motivated
Junior Automation Engineer with hands-on experience in
Playwright and JavaScript/Typescript to join our growing QA team. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in automation testing, a keen eye for detail, and a passion for delivering high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, execute, and maintain automated test scripts using Playwright and JavaScript/Typescript
- Work closely with senior engineers to design and enhance automation frameworks
- Perform functional, regression, and integration testing using automated scripts
- Analyse test results, identify defects, and support issue resolution
- Collaborate with developers, testers, and cross-functional teams to ensure quality deliverables
- Participate in code reviews and continuously improve test automation processes
- Maintain clear and structured documentation for test cases, scripts, and execution results
- Support CI/CD pipeline integration for automated test execution (basic exposure preferred)
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience with Playwright automation tool
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript/Typescript
- Good understanding of automation frameworks and test design concepts
- Experience with web application testing
- Basic knowledge of API testing (preferred)
- Familiarity with Git/version control systems
- Understanding of SDLC and STLC processes
Good to Have
- Experience working with CI/CD tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
- Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
- Basic understanding of performance or security testing concepts
Educational Qualification
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
