- Position Title : Junior Architect Designer

Role Overview:
- Responsibility Area Details Purpose of Role :
- Assist in preparation of architectural drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and 3D views
- Support concept development, design presentations, and client proposals
- Prepare working drawings and basic construction documentation
- Coordinate with structural, MEP, and other consultants under guidance
- Assist in material selection, BOQs, and specifications
- Participate in site visits, measurements, and basic site coordination
- Revise drawings based on feedback from senior architects and clients
- Ensure drawings comply with local building codes and regulations
- Maintain organized project files and documentation
- Key Responsibility Areas
- Technical Drawing & Design Development
- Create detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings based on engineering or architectural concepts.
- Translate rough sketches into complete design layouts and schematics
- Ensure drawings meet project specifications, codes, and standards
- Collaboration & Coordination
- Work closely with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders to gather requirements
- Participate in design meetings and contribute to technical discussions.
- Communicate design updates and revisions effectively across teams
- Quality Control & Documentation
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, form, fit, and function.
- Conduct tolerance studies and ensure manufacturability or constructability
- Maintain documentation for design changes and updates
- Project Management Support
- Assist in planning design timelines and managing resources.
- Contribute to cost containment and operational efficiency through thoughtful design
- Ensure projects stay within budget and meet deadlines
- Mentorship & Leadership
- Provide technical guidance to junior drafters/designers.
- Review and check work of others to ensure quality and consistency
- Promote best practices and continuous improvement in design processes.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit).
- Strong understanding of engineering/architectural principles and mechanical tolerances.
- Minimum 5–7 years of experience in drafting/design roles.
- Excellent attention to detail, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Familiarity with PDM systems and structured product data management .

Qualifications & Skills :

- Registered with Council of Architecture (COA) – preferred / mandatory
- 5–7 years of relevant experience
- Experience : 5 to 7 years in industrial architectural working drawings.
Technical Skills :
- Advanced CAD Software Proficiency.Technical Drawing & Drafting.AutoCAD – mandatory
- Working knowledge of SketchUp, Revit (any BIM tool preferred)
- Basic knowledge of Photoshop / Lumion / Enscape / V‑Ray – added advantage
- Understanding of building materials, construction methods, and detailin
- MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
