Job Description
A Junior Architect works under the supervision of senior architects or project leads and supports the design and execution of architectural projects. They are typically involved in the planning, drafting, modelling, and coordination phases.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design Support
Assist in developing conceptual and detailed architectural designs
Prepare floor plans, elevations, sections, and other design drawings
Support in preparing presentations and mood boards for clients or stakeholders
2. Drafting & Documentation
Create and revise technical drawings using CAD tools (e.g., AutoCAD)
Help prepare construction documents, including layouts, detailing, and schedules
Ensure designs comply with local building codes and regulations
3. 3D Modelling & Visualization
Develop 3D models using tools like SketchUp,D5 render
Produce rendered visuals and walkthroughs for client presentations
4. Project Coordination
Coordinate with engineers, consultants, and contractors to ensure design intent is maintained
Attend site visits or meetings and record minutes or observations
Assist in preparing project reports and documentation
5. Learning & Development
Stay updated on architectural trends, software tools, and construction technologies
Learn from senior architects and apply feedback to improve technical and design skills Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or Diploma in Architecture.
Minimum 1-2 years of relevant professional experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 20,000.00 - 30,000.00 per month
