Job Title: Junior Architect
Role Overview: We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Junior Architect to join our in-house design and development team. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in architectural design, working drawings, coordination with consultants, and site execution support for residential and commercial real estate projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation of architectural concepts, layouts, and working drawings.
- Coordinate with external consultants (structural, MEP, landscape, etc.) and internal teams for design inputs and compliance.
- Prepare 3D models, presentations, and renders for internal and client discussions.
- Ensure design compliance with building codes, bye-laws, and DCR norms.
- Support the senior architect and project team during site visits for design validation and issue resolution.
- Prepare submission drawings and documentation for statutory approvals (municipal, environmental, fire NOC, etc.).
- Maintain proper documentation of design iterations, approvals, and revisions.
Key Skills, Competencies & Qualifications:
- Bachelors Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) from a recognized institution.
- 2 - 4 years of relevant experience in architectural design and coordination, preferably with a real estate developer or architectural consultancy.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and MS Office; knowledge of Revit is a plus.
- Good understanding of building construction techniques, materials, and detailing.
- Sound knowledge of local development regulations, building codes, and approval processes.
- Strong design sense, attention to detail, and visual communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including consultants and site teams.
