Location: Pentagram Architects, D19 kanchanjunga, Near Mantri park, tejas nagar, Dahanukar colony, kothrudd, PUNE-38.

Pentagram Architects is seeking a passionate, detail-oriented, and highly motivated Junior Architect to join our growing design team. In this full-time role, you will bridge the gap between conceptual design and physical execution. You will spend your time developing designs and construction documents in the office, while also conducting regular site visits to ensure our projects are built to the highest standards.

This is an excellent opportunity for an emerging architect who wants hands-on experience in both the studio and the field.

1. Design & Technical Production

• Assist senior architects in developing design concepts, schematic designs, and presentations.
• Produce highly accurate 2D drafts, 3D models, and high-quality renderings.
• Prepare detailed working drawings, structural layouts, and comprehensive construction documents.
• Conduct material research and assist in creating physical or digital mood boards.

2. Site Management & Execution

• Conduct regular, detailed site visits to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to the approved architectural plans.
• Identify, document, and resolve on-site discrepancies or structural challenges quickly and efficiently.
• Coordinate directly with contractors, structural engineers, and material vendors to keep projects on schedule.
• Maintain meticulous site logs, progress reports, and photographic records of construction phases.

3. Communication & Collaboration

• Act as a clear and reliable liaison between the internal design team and the external construction crew.
• Communicate complex architectural concepts and technical details clearly to non-technical clients and on-site workers.
• Participate actively in client meetings, taking comprehensive minutes and translating client feedback into actionable design updates.
• Work collaboratively within a fast-paced studio environment, accepting and implementing constructive feedback.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Architecture (B.Arch) or equivalent.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong command of industry-standard software, including AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign). Experience with rendering engines (Lumion, Enscape, or V-Ray) is highly preferred.
• Communication Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities. You must be comfortable picking up the phone to resolve a contractor issue or explaining a design choice to a client.
• Site Awareness: A solid fundamental understanding of construction methodologies, building materials, and local building codes.
• Problem-Solving: Proactive, adaptable, and capable of thinking on your feet when on-site realities don't match the digital model.
