Junior Architect / Junior Interior Designer

Role Description:This is a full-time, in-house Junior Architect / Junior Interior Designer role based in Surat. The Junior Architect will support senior team members in the preparation of architectural drawings, 3D views, presentations, and design documentation across residential, commercial, and interior projects. Responsibilities include assisting in conceptual and detailed design development, preparing working drawings, coordinating with consultants, and participating in site visits to understand execution and quality standards. The role also involves contributing to material selection, basic quantity take-offs, and maintaining project files and documentation. The ideal candidate will collaborate closely with the design team, be open to feedback, and be eager to learn professional best practices from experienced mentors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Architecture or Interior Design
• Previous internship or 0–1 years of professional experience in an architectural or interior design firm is an advantage.
• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into clear drawings and layouts.
• Proficiency with relevant architectural software tools (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp,Enscape or similar) and basic understanding of Integration of design with structural, services, and interior requirements.
• Basic Project Management abilities, including organizing drawings, tracking design revisions, and coordinating with vendors or consultants under guidance.
• Good understanding of building materials, construction details, and local codes or willingness to learn quickly.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a studio environment.
• Strong attention to detail, time management skills, and openness to feedback and continuous learning.
