Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Junior Architect role based in Mumbai. The Junior Architect will support the design and development of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects from concept to execution. Responsibilities include assisting with architectural drawings, 3D models, and presentations; coordinating with senior architects, structural and MEP consultants, and contractors; and contributing to design development, material selection, and detail drawings. The role also involves reviewing drawings for compliance with building codes, regulations, and internal standards, as well as supporting site visits, documentation, and progress reports. The Junior Architect will collaborate closely with project teams to ensure design intent, quality, and sustainability goals are met throughout the project lifecycle.
Qualifications
- Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into practical drawings and layouts.
- Basic understanding of Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, BIM workflows, and digital collaboration platforms.
- Familiarity with Project Management principles, including time management, coordination with stakeholders, and documentation tracking.
- Proficiency in industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, or similar) and basic MS Office skills.
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture from an accredited institution; eligibility for or registration with the Council of Architecture (CoA) is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail, design sensitivity, and interest in sustainable and innovative building solutions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and on active construction sites.
- Prior internship or 0–2 years of professional experience in architectural design or real estate development is preferred.
