Junior Architect

Role Description The Junior Architect will support the design and documentation of residential, commercial, and mixed-use projects, with a focus on permit drawings and compliance with local building regulations. Day-to-day responsibilities include assisting in developing architectural concepts, preparing drawings and layout plans, updating design revisions, and coordinating with senior architects and project stakeholders. The role involves reviewing regulatory requirements, organizing project documentation, and contributing to plot subdivision layouts and other technical submissions. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Ernakulam.
Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Architecture and Architectural Design, with the ability to translate concepts into accurate drawings and layouts.
• Exposure to Project Management, including basic planning, task coordination, and tracking project timelines.
• Familiarity with Software Development and Integration concepts as they relate to design tools, BIM, or CAD workflows is an advantage.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp) and standard office productivity tools.
• Understanding of local building codes, permitting processes, and regulatory standards, or willingness to learn quickly.
• Effective communication and collaboration skills, with attention to detail and a methodical approach to documentation.
• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Architecture or a closely related field; internship or academic project experience in building design is preferred.
• Ability to work on-site in Ernakulam and commit to full-time hours in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
