Junior Architect

An architecture and urban design studio based in Paschim Vihar, Delhi is looking for a Junior Architectural Designer with 0–1 year of professional experience.

The studio works across a range of architectural and spatial design projects, including homes, villas, educational spaces and community-oriented environments. Its design approach explores the relationship between buildings, courtyards, natural light, materials and landscape.

This role is suited to an emerging designer who is curious about architecture and wants to participate in the design process, from developing initial ideas to preparing drawings, exploring materials and understanding how projects take shape.

Project Typology / Exposure

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in developing architectural concepts, spatial layouts and design proposals.
• Prepare architectural drawings, digital models and design presentations.
• Explore materials, natural light, proportions and architectural details during design development.
• Translate design concepts into drawings and supporting project documentation.
• Research materials, construction approaches and design references relevant to project requirements.
• Participate in design discussions, brainstorming sessions and collaborative reviews.
• Assist with developing architectural details and documenting material selections.
• Participate in site visits and support the team in understanding how design decisions translate into built spaces.
• Incorporate feedback and revisions into drawings, models and presentations.
• Coordinate with the studio team to complete assigned tasks and project deliverables.

Requirements

• A degree in Architecture or a relevant architectural design qualification or Interior Design.
• 0–1 year of professional experience; recent graduates are welcome to apply.
• Understanding of architectural design principles, spatial planning and drawing conventions.
• Ability to communicate design ideas through sketches, drawings, models or presentations.
• Interest in materials, natural light, landscape integration and architectural detailing.
• Familiarity with architectural drafting, modelling or visualisation tools.
• Attention to detail and willingness to learn through feedback and collaboration.
• Ability to contribute ideas, ask questions and participate in the design process.
• A portfolio demonstrating academic or professional design work.

Work Schedule:

• Location: Paschim Vihar, Delhi
• Working Days: Monday to Saturday (9:30 am to 5:30 pm) ; (2nd & 4th Sat off)
