Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated Analyst to support the evaluation and management of real estate investment opportunities across the Nordic region, with exposure to all major commercial real estate sectors including office, residential, retail, and industrial. The role offers a strong blend of investment analytics, financial modelling, market research, and asset management support, providing an excellent opportunity to develop deep expertise in commercial real estate and investment analysis.

The ideal candidate will gain strong analytical and quantitative skills, a keen interest in market research, and the ability to transform complex data into actionable insights.

Key Responsibilities:

Investment Analysis & Financial Modelling

• Build, maintain, and update financial models in MS Excel to evaluate real estate investment opportunities.
• Assist in preparing investment memoranda, financial analyses, and valuation materials.
• Support quantitative analysis of asset business plans and portfolio performance.
• Contribute analytical support for acquisitions and disposition activities.

Research & Market Intelligence

• Conduct detailed research on commercial real estate sectors and market trends across Nordic countries, with a particular focus on the Norwegian real estate market.
• Source, collate, structure, and analyse market data from various industry reports and databases.
• Identify market trends, generate insights, and support strategic decision-making through data-driven analysis.
• Develop and maintain internal market databases and research deliverables.
• Track key market indicators and publish relevant market updates and insights.
• Identify and source new market reports and research publications as required.
• Continuously improve and optimize market data extraction and reporting processes.

Asset & Portfolio Management Support

• Assist asset and portfolio managers in monitoring and managing existing investments.
• Support ongoing portfolio analysis, operational tracking, and reporting activities.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams on various analytical and research assignments.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Education & Experience

• 0–1 year of relevant experience in commercial real estate, corporate finance, investment banking, capital markets, or related fields.
• MBA/PGDM with specialization in Finance preferred.
• Candidates pursuing CFA qualification will have an added advantage.

Technical & Analytical Skills

• Strong quantitative, financial, and analytical capabilities.
• Proficiency in financial modelling and data analysis using MS Excel.
• Strong understanding of finance and valuation fundamentals.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of VBA, Excel Macros, or AI-based analytical tools is a plus.

• Strong interest in desk research and market intelligence.
• Ability to synthesize data, identify patterns, and generate meaningful insights.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
