Junior Agronomist

About the Position

Our company is growing rapidly and we are looking for an energetic agronomist who helps farmers to manage crop planting and implementing efficient farming practices; improving crop efficiency and identifying market needs.

Roles/Responsibilities

·        Innovating planting, cultivation, and harvesting methodologies to enhance crop yield for contract farmers and inhouse farming project

·        Engaging in field visits for crop assessment and providing expert guidance to contract farmers

·        Conducting comprehensive analysis of samples to detect and address nutritional deficiencies, diseases, and other anomalies

·        Facilitating in plant sourcing, testing, and selection processes.

·        Maintaining meticulous records encompassing field data, customer interactions, crop assessments, and sample analyses

·        Formulating precise planting schedules, irrigation plans, budgets, and timelines to optimize productivity

Required skills and qualifications:

·        Minimum 2 year of agronomy work experience

• Contract Farming

·        Specializing in areas such as crop rotation, irrigation & drainage, planet breeding, soil science, weed control & disease & pest control

·        Specialization in BSc Agriculture

Salary:

Upto 5LPA depending on experience.
